2 Days:

Check Up

Relaxed arrival and immersion for the instructor course. Review of theory, skills, and rescue exercises.

11 Days:

IDC Course

Your training to become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor is divided into the PADI Assistant Instructor course, EFR Instructor course, and the Instructor course.

2 Days:

Fun Diving

Before the exam, clear your mind with a Zenobia dive, free practice, and/or a good sleep.

2 Days:

IE Exams

After your training with us, the final exams will take place. These will be conducted by PADI examiners.

What awaits you in your IDC

PADI 5Stard IDC Dive Centre

​​The PADI IDC course is divided into two components. The first part includes the Assistant Instructor course, followed by the PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor course. You'll learn about the entire PADI diver education system and focus on building your skills as a professional scuba instructor.

​

The IDC course is very interactive and you will learn, among other things, how to give presentations, recognize and correct errors and organize training.

​

For this you give at least the following presentations:​

  • Two presentations of confined water lessons
  • Two presentations for knowledge transfer
  • Presentation of an open water lesson with two integrated scuba skills.

​

You will also take part in the following 15 subjects:​

  • course orientation
  • Overview of the diving industry
  • General Standards and Procedures
  • The role of the media and mandatory education
  • Legal accountability and risk management
  • PADI Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver course
  • Adaptive Education
  • The PADI philosophy of advanced courses
  • Business Guidelines for the Dive Instructor
  • Adventures in Diving program
  • Specialty Diver courses and the Master Scuba Diver program
  • Rescue Diver course
  • Dive master course
  • Customer Loyalty Programs
  • Recreational Dive Planner (RDP) instructional instructions (diving instructors from another dive training organization must complete this portion).

Emergency First Response Instructor Course

You will also receive an Emergency First Response Instructor license during your IDC Instructor course. This will also allow you to train first aid courses in the future.

Course Costs

These are the fees you pay to us as a dive school for your training.

​

PADI Materials

These costs cover the PADI e-learning and materials required for your course. You can purchase these at a lower price through us. The prices are listed below. Of course, you can also buy the materials directly from PADI or another dive school.

PADI Fees

These are the fees you pay to PADI, which include exam fees, membership dues, and licensing fees.

​The licensing and membership fees are to be paid directly to PADI only after you have successfully completed the exam.

 

To become a PADI Open Water Scuba Diver Instructor (OWSI)and an EFR Instructor, you will incur the following costs:
